Is AI making me obsolete?
There’s been a lot of talk about AI making developers obsolete. Is it all hype, or should I be concerned?

I specialise in the "Zero-to-One" project phase: deconstructing complex problems to get bespoke projects and product ideas off the ground. I build the bridge between high-level strategy and low-level code.

Setting up a safe sandbox for AI agents to work in.
I finally stopped procrastinating and built my website, giving agentic AI a go in the process.
The User & The Roadmap
I start with the problem, not the code. I put myself in the user's shoes to ensure the solution actually works for them. This is where I define the vision and the technical roadmap that allows a product to scale long after the initial build.
The Interface & The Emotion
Technical systems shouldn't feel "technical." I design and build front-end interfaces that make big data accessible, or complex systems easy to use.
The Build & The Integration
Using a sensible, modern tech stack, I build MVPs that are 'production-ready' by design. My experience in systems integration and IoT means I'm comfortable working where the digital meets the physical.

My career has been defined by a fascination with how technology can solve real-world problems and improve real lives. I thrive at the intersection of complex problem solving, sophisticated technical architecture, and high-fidelity user experiences.
I specialise in the "Zero-to-One" project phase: deconstructing complex problems to build the bridge between high-level strategy and low-level code—and getting bespoke projects and product ideas off the ground.
With a background spanning Full-stack Engineering, UI/UX Design, and Solution Architecture, I’ve spent years helping companies move from abstract concepts to tangible, physical impact.
My work has powered everything from:
My sweet spot is the "Spark" phase—taking a raw idea and transforming it into a working proof-of-concept that is technically rigorous, intuitively designed, and ready for your team to scale.
I work best leading small, collaborative teams or working autonomously to turn a "crazy idea" into reality. My goal isn't just to hand over code; it's to hand over a strategically sound product. I provide the technical foundation and the future roadmap so that your permanent team can hit the ground running.
When I'm not architecting systems, I like to reconnect with nature. You’ll likely find me out cycling, in the garden, or down the allotment - where the feedback loops are slower, but just as rewarding. I believe the best engineering comes from a balanced perspective, and sometimes the best solution to a Go logic error is found twenty miles into a cycling route.
